REBELLIOUShe's always been this way. from the moment he was old enough to think on his own, alexander has done whatever he could to buck authority. he was fifteen when he did his first act of rebellion, getting a tattoo. his father was a devout puritan so it only made sense that the first tat to cover his body would be a demon head. it had taken him a month to decide on the proper placement of the design, and even longer to sketch it out. no he wouldn't trust anyone but himself to draw the design and since his skill in art wasn't all that good he needed to practice. alex still remembers running through seventeen rough sketches before he settled on one. finding the person to do the tattoo had been harder than actually coming up with the design.

SPONTANEOUS the easiest way to describe this is to say that alex does whatever comes to mind. he doesn't really stop to think about his actions or the consequences there of. he simply reacts. he says its the reason he's lived so long, that he knows how to avoid doing things that would make him unhappy so he simply does whatever he feels like doing. this also goes for conversations with him. you could be talking about boats and he would suddenly go off on a tangent about tomatoes. alex thinks that he's this way because he had a form of add as a child that was never diagnosed and treated and now that he's an adult and a vampire its been locked into his personality. he doesn't try to be spontaneous, it just happens.

HOT-HEADED quick to anger and quicker to act, that's pretty much alex in a nutshell. he tries to keep his temper in check but it doesn't always work. if you piss him off you will learn to regret it because of his attitude. there's nothing wrong with being hotheaded, at least not in his mind. true it means he has a short fuse and an even shorter temper but that's nothing terribly bad. if you know him well enough you know how to avoid this attitude. its not directed at anyone in particular just a general sense of anger and frustration at the stupid people in the world. yes he's quick to anger but its usually over something that he knows that he can't fix like the stupidity of the world around him. it's not that he seeks out to be angry at people but he just doesn't see the point in being civil to people after a certain point.


FLIRTY if your a cute girl watch out. alex isn't afraid to flirt with you especially if he thinks you are hot. its partly how he's sought out his victims in the past. he'd smile and wink and say the perfect pick up line and get them to leave the bar or club with him and then bam they'd become his next meal. he isn't ashamed of what he is, doesn't mind that he uses people or that they think he uses them. it's just who he is. there's no denying that alexander is charming, just don't try to call him on it or you might see the angry part of him. he's been known to flirt with men too, not that he actually wants to pursue anything with them. its all about the game with him, getting willing victims that are hot and aroused because it makes the blood taste sweeter. he's not a nice young man, not when he's out to feed and sate his hunger

COMMANDING there's this presence about alex that commands the attention of a room. when he wants something done you can tell by his voice that he isn't playing games. he's very commanding, and determined to get what he wants no matter the cost. there's no doubt who's in charge when he walks into the room. the commanding person that he is isn't for show. no its truly who he is. arguing with him is a futile effort, he makes it so because he's so knowledgeable. he's also very demanding about what he wants. if you ask him he won't deny that he's domineering, commanding and possessive. he doesn't care if people don't like him because of it. alex is secure in who he is and therefore can command a room with his very presence, or command an action with his very words.

KNOWLEDGEABLE when it comes to the history of the united states, alex is smarter than anyone he knows. he can recall perfectly any detail from any war that troubled our shores even down to the treaty that was signed or broken because of it. history isn't the only topic he knows there are others but they are too numerous to name. try not to bring up literature unless you have the book on hand to challenge him with. knowledge is a power that he often wields and he isn't afraid to tell people when they are wrong and just plain stupid. let it be known that history, english, literature, languages, math and science are the strongest areas of knowledge that alex has. these are just topics but there's more he knows about vampires, knows that there are two ways to live though he chooses the path he's on. he knows that there's something going on in the world but he cannot figure it out, yet.


CHAOS DETECTIONit's a nifty little power really. not to strong but not to weak. alexx likes to say its average, that he was just gifted with an ability he had as a human now that he is something more. what is chaos detection? well its the ability to use one's thoughts to detect evil intent. but its so much more. anyone that is around with strong emotions such as anger and fear, alexander can tap into their mind and detect what they are planning to do, if said act is evil. from there he can choose to stop them, or not. there have been many times when this talent has come in handy, in knowing that someone was going to attack him and be able to fight it. it only works well, if he knows the person that he is around and if their emotions are very strong on the negative side.

the year was nineteen forty six and two young people gave birth to their oldest male child on a cold november day. to be specific it was november seventeenth nineteen forty six. the young people were alyssandra and nicholas stone a pair of newlyweds that really weren't looking for children. after all nicholas was only twenty five and alyssandra was only twenty. they should have expected something like this would happen but neither was prepared. they loved alexander, choosing them to name him after the great conqueror alexander the great. his middle name nicholas was after his father, and of course stone being the surname. the first few months were tense because neither parent was really sure what they were doing and none of their families wanted to help them. it was just after the ending of the second world war and the world around them was trying to heal. it made being able to support their family tough. everything was tough the first four years of his life. not only was the family trying to rebuild their family and the community after the war. both were just glad that nicholas had survived the battle and returned to her.

the second child, and slightly younger sister dyonissa renee stone was born eleven months after alex was. she would be the only girl that was born to the family. by this time both parents were used to having a child around and treated dyonissa like a princess. she was spoiled rotten while alex was left to fend for himself. it wasn't hard really as alex was a pretty smart kid. he just wasn't really happy in his life. apparently all his parents wanted was a daughter and they had been stuck with him first. wiltshire england was a place that was trying to recover from aiding the us in the war. their finances spread thin and towns were still recovering from the air raids and bombings. so many families were affected and sadly the stones were one of them. alex was nine when he got his first job, helping out at the local hardware store. true it was only to sweep up and put up things that were misplaced. he was paid, not much but the money he got was his to keep. this same year his baby brother was born as well. jacob immanuel stone would always be the person that kept alex calm. his baby brother was pretty much his responsibility to raise as the parents only cared about their girl. in truth, alex hates his parents and the place he grew up and he only stuck around for his brother. it would be the same old shtick until he was twenty one years old.

when alex was twenty his sister married a police man named jackson statham. he hates the man because the guy's really a creep but that's beside the point. the next major event in his life was not one he likes to talk about much. he was out running an errand for his mother when he was accosted by a man. or what he thought was a man. it was only after the pain drifted away that alex would find out what happened. a maned rasputin constantine merkov apparently thought he was going to be his next meal. the vampire had attacked quickly and without any warning but something stopped him from completely killing the boy. it would be three agonizing days later that alex would awaken and be confused. rasputin was kind as he explained what changes alexander had gone through, what he could expect and was a good source of guidance for the newborn. it took all of the older vampires strength and skill to keep the newborn from going after his own family. it would be a decade before alex would leave to find his own path. he needed to decide who he was and he couldn't do that in the shadows of the vampire that turned him.

traveling was something he had always done and so he thought nothing about doing it on his own. the world was an open book for a man who would never age. though he tried to spend a long time in each place that he was in but it was never very long, at least to him. he spent a decade in prague, and france respectively learning about their cultures and feeling like something was missing. when it got too hard to remain the age he claimed to be, alex would leave and move on to another city in another country. he was thirty years old in vampire terms when he stumbled into italy. there was something about this place that made him want to leave almost as fast as he was there. rumors of the city volterra peaked his interest but not enough to investigate. one thing that rasputin had always told him was that he should be wary of other vampires, especially ones that were together in large groups. avoiding the volturi, alex toured around italy for about three years before fleeing for safer grounds.

he would spend another twenty years traveling around asia mostly in chin and japan. he enjoyed their shoulin temples and learning karate. not that he needed it being a vampire. eventually he grew tired of europe and asia and headed for the 'new world'. america had potential to be a resting place for him but again he was nomadic by nature. at first he was in new england, enjoying the snow and cold weather there bur found the area too sunny in the summer for his liking. he would spend the next few years visiting other states and avoiding others simply because didn't want to have to explain how why he sparkled in the sunlight. finally he found a city that seemed to have everything he needed. forks washington was constantly cloudy, and always rainy and the perfect place for any vampire to settle down in. how long he would stay was dependent upon a number of factors. his crimson eyes were a dead give away that he wasn't exactly normal but humans in general tended to be blind about it. his reason for staying right now? a girl caught his eye and her smell is intoxicating.
