With the treaty made void by the transformation of Isabella Swan Cullen, tensions are high in the Olympic Peninsula. Although both the Cullens and the Quileute and Makah shifters are lying low, there is something brewing beneath the surface and as more and more vampires convene in the area, it seems things are about to come to a head.
Both Jacob Black and Leah Clearwater have imprinted, and with their doing so, the last connections of the Quileute shifters to the Cullens are eradicated, resulting in the only trace of remaining loyalty being Seth Clearwater. Will he remain loyal to Sam's pack, or will he venture off on his own to do what he thinks is right?
